The big news this month is our Textile Festival. After the success of our first Textile Festival last year we are doing it again this year ! The Textile Market will be on Sun 20th May 10am-4pm , then the Textile Exhibition will continue for 3 weeks until Sat 9th June.
The Festival aims to provide an opportunity to see up close, quality handcrafted textile based art & products. There will be a wide choice of local spinning, weaving, felting, upcycled clothing, artwork, dyeing, lace, wall hangings, embroidery, & tapestry. At the Market, we will also have lots of demonstrations of textile techniques - which you can have a go yourself. Plus refreshments & a Naomi Bakes' cakes & savouries stall.
